We are centrally located so it's great for getting to major city sites easily by car. The area is a good mix of old classic brownstones and new development. There is a restaurant a couple blocks to the west and grocery store and small shopping center 1/2 mile east but otherwise not many shops/restaurants within walking distance. We have a gravel parking pad with 3 off-street parking spots and free street parking in front as well.

Yes! Our neighborhood is among the safest in St. Louis (reference: Trulia crime stats). We've lived here for several years with no issues. Please know that the area is not near the areas (North and East St. Louis) that you hear about in the news. That said, it is a city neighborhood, not gated suburb and you'll find a wonderful melting pot of old homes, new development and diverse neighbors.
The whole apartment is yours! We have another airbnb in the apt above and we live next door. We won't disturb you but are always available if you need anything during your stay.
The apartment is rich with the history and character of a 123 year old house. You'll find the apartment is clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. You'll love all the space it has and the location is super convenient to access city attractions.
We are located near the highway so you will notice minor car noise while outside and very lightly from the inside when the room is quiet. It won't be an issue for most but something to note for those who are very sensitive to background noises. Turning on the fan or provided white noise machine will mitigate the sound if that is a concern.

Summary: This is our second time staying at this property. The location is fantastic- close to everything but tucked away in a quiet corner. Owner is responsive and helpful, house is comfortable with lots of flexible sleeping options. We will likely come again .

Summary: We had a long weekend in St. Louis to watch a game, and this property was really great. Plenty of room, pictures and description are accurate, and host very communicative. We left our luggage in the unit after check-out time and picked it up on our way back to the airport, very easy. Traffic noise wasn't too bad, there isn't a ton of stuff within walking distance but if you rent a car or Uber/Lyft around it is no problem. Highly recommend!
